The new, pain-free way to get your blood tested at the doctor

So, who here loves to get needles and go visit the dentist? Strange, I’m not seeing a large show of hands here. After all, there are some nice dentists and doctors out there, so what’s the problem? Could it be the PAIN!!! Absolutely! Who in their right mind would want to get a needle in the arm or have their teeth drilled into? And those little gifts and free toothbrushes that they give you at the dentist’s office? Who do they think they’re kidding? If they think a free pack of stickers is going to make you overlook the fact that you’ve just endured the unendurable, they’d better think again! But what would make going to the dentist and doctor a bit more fun? Getting rid of the pain you say? Well, on today’s blog post, the future of medicine and dental care is here—and it’s surprisingly pain free!

Enter, the new technology! Here’s the scoop on the new, pain-free way to get your blood tested at the doctor. Say goodbye to those enormous needles that draw blood from your arm. In as little as five years, doctor may be saying goodbye to blood tests and hello to saliva (spit) testing. Yup, getting blood work done may soon be as simple and painless as spitting into a little cup! Thanks to new technology, doctors may soon be able to tell all about a person from their saliva. This includes determining whether they have a disease, such as cancer, by studying the molecules found in spit!

Sounds pretty good, but now let’s tackle the big one—dental visits! Well, it turns out that technology has got this one covered as well. Now you can get pain-free fillings, and even more major dental surgeries, such as root canals (when a dentist fixes the damaged root of a tooth), by way of a computer-controlled laser! No drill, no pain, no noise! Wow! The laser destroys the decay in the tooth and you barely feel a thing. And they still give you a free gift at the end. Not a bad deal at all! Bring on those dental appointments!
