Science Project Hint #1

Yup, you guessed it, this blog is not just the place to learn about neat, new science news… it’s also the hot spot for hints on how to do your science project the smart way. This means 1) actually enjoying your science project—yes, it is possible! and 2) saving yourself a lot of stress, late nights, and hairless hat days (after ripping out all your hair the night before your project is due of course!) So enough chatter already, what is science project hint #1? Convincing a NASA scientist to help you out? Nope, but that’s a good guess. Science project hint #1 is brilliant because is so darn simple—pick a topic you think is cool, rockin’, or if you can’t manage that, at least kinda neat! Why? Because your science fair project is about to become your best friend, and you really don’t want to be best friends with a bore do you? So how do you find a topic that interests you? Start by trying to figure out what turns your crank. Do you love music? Sports? Spoon collecting? Lots of great science topics there. Okay, maybe not the spoon collecting, but music involves sound, voice harmony, human emotions, hearing, and the brain… tons of scientific topics to choose from!
